Born and raised in Germany I have made London my primary base where I graduated in production design for film, theatre and television from Wimbledon School of Art. Since then, I have worked as an art director and production designer in the UK, Europe and worldwide.
I consider the process and opportunity of designing for narrative content of any caliber and format a huge privilege, not only because of what ends up on screen. It is an everyday pleasure to meet, greet, encounter and thrive with a variety of people and talents to create the things we do. Noone of us could do it alone and the the results of collaboration is what I call a successful production design.
On the technical side, I hold EU and British passports, am fluent in English and German as well as conversational Spanish ( especially after a few drinks) and I am a member of BAFTA and the BFDG (British Film Designers Guild).
